By downloading or using Pantry Watcher, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.
1. Use of the App
Pantry Watcher is provided for your personal use to manage your household pantry and shopping lists.
2. AI and External Data Liability
Pantry Watcher uses Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate meal plans, read receipts, and estimate food expiration dates.
- No Guarantee of Accuracy: All AI-driven calculations, receipt scans, and expiration estimations are approximate. The AI may misread receipt items, prices, or expiry dates. You agree that Pantry Watcher is not liable for incorrect food information, allergens, or expired food consumed as a result of relying on the app.
- User Responsibility: You must always manually verify ingredient freshness, safety, and expiration dates before consumption.
- Meal Planners: Any meal plans generated by the app's AI features will automatically append a food safety and allergen warning. You must read and adhere to these warnings prior to relying on any generated plan.
3. User Generated Content
You are responsible for any data or images you upload. Do not scan or upload inappropriate or illegal images using the receipt scanner.
4. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
5. Changes to This Agreement
We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
